📖 Passport Application Guide

Machine Readable Passport (MRP)

MRP passports are being phased out. New applications get ePassport by default.

Regular: 15-21 working days | Urgent: 7 working days | Super Express: 2 working days

For those under 18, birth certificate and parent NID is required. For adults, NID is mandatory.

Applications can be submitted at Regional Passport Offices across Bangladesh. Online application is available at epassport.gov.bd

Renewal Process

Apply online at epassport.gov.bd
Select "Renewal" application type
Upload existing passport details
Pay the applicable fee
Visit the passport office with original documents
Collect new passport when ready
